Are you ready to go deeper into the remote mountains of Oaxaca?
We’ve only just begun exploring Tequila’s ‘Wild Cousin’.
Our second event in our Fall Mezcal Series is coming up on
Saturday, October 3rd at 5:00 pm
(Don’t worry if you missed the first one in September– we’ll help you catch up!)
Join Sr. Ernesto Delgado, Mezcal Aficionado-Educator Drew Garrison and
the amazing Susan Coss, Founder of Mezcalistas and México in a Bottle, for an evening of tasting, learning and adventure.
Susan Coss is known as the foremost authority on Mezcal in the United States. She is a wealth of knowledge about the origins, history, production, distribution and people behind the artisan Mezcales we love. See more about Susan click here: Mezcalistas, The Mezcalistas Founders.

**A little on ‘Ensembles’. (Extrapolated from this highly recommended article click to read.
Ensembles are blends created by Master Mezcaleros using different Agave varieties that complement one another. Often, each must be cooked separately because of the differences in size and density, then blended together until the Mezcalero is satisfied the elixir is a perfect representation of the Agave grown in his or her fields. These blends bring a range of flavor to each bottle – each one is unique – they are nearly impossible to duplicate and most never attempt to do so. It will be an expression you will never taste in that exact form again. You are drinking liquid history and tradition.
