The story of Luis Robledo is one of hard work, tenacity and a dream. He came to the United States with the Bracero program in 1942 to work in the orchards and vineyards of Healdsburg, California. Life in a labor camp was not easy, with long hours in the sun and backbreaking labor.

But Luis fell in love with the vineyards, he learned that the soil, water and sun held the magic to create fine wine. His son Everardo (Lalo) followed in his father’s footsteps. Raynaldo, Lalo’s son, arrived in 1968, sharing the dream of his father and grandfather to one day open their own winery.

Raynaldo and his wife Maria had nine children, and by 1984 had saved enough money to buy a piece of property in the Los Carneros region of Napa. They planted Pinot Noir grapes. The whole family worked in the vineyard, sharing the challenges and the triumphs.

Today, the Robledo Family Winery is known for the quality of the wine they produce. Cultivating more than a dozen estate vineyards that encompass more than 350 acres throughout the terroir driven Napa, Sonoma and Lake Counties, their reverence for the land and the beauty of the vines is evident in every bottle.

We’ll begin our evening with a cocktail and a toast to the winemakers! Small plates created by Chef Eduardo will be served with each tasting, so you can enjoy the full experience of wine as it was meant to be savored – with good food and good friends.

4th – Tostada de Tinga de Nopales
A crispy small corn tostada, topped with Tinga- shredded chicken cooked in chipotle and cumin, topped with strips of Nopales – a favorite in México.

5th – Mole Poblano
Braised, seasoned chicken topped with our famous Mole Poblano sauce – a sauce with up to 32 individual ingredients that takes hours to prepare.

Creamy, silky flan – your choice of chocolate or Chongo – a sweet bun filled with flan and topped with fresh, juicy blackberries
