Felipe Camarena, known as ‘El Ingeniera’ or sometimes ‘The Mad Scientist’ will join us to pour his beautiful G4 Tequila.
For over 80 years, the Camarena family has been handcrafting some of the world’s finest Tequilas. Felipe and his sons created El Pandillo Distillery to honor their family’s proud traditions
The Tequila you taste is made with Agave grown to exacting standards and ripened to perfection. The Agave are cooked in traditional stone ovens in an innovative method that creates the purest Agave flavor. The plant waste is repurposed as fertilizer. In fact, Felipe Camarena is one of the most energy-efficient and environmentally conscious producers of Tequila.
We’ll begin with a cocktail made from the G4 Blanco, to be enjoyed with a delicious small bite created by Chef Eduardo Garcia.

We’ll taste the Blanco:
Tasting notes : Nice minerality and forward aroma from rainwater distillation. Silky texture with slight heat. True agave, spicy, peppery, smooth and delicious with nice buttery notes and smoky elements. Complex, but pleasant sipping.
Tasting notes : aged for at least 6 months in American Oak bourbon barrels, the “rested” tequila – G4 Reposado builds on the character of the blanco, but adds to the aroma hints of peach and licorice, with a small hints of grapefruit and lighter pepper in the tasting.
Tasting notes: aged for at least 18 months in American Oak bourbon barrels, the G4 Añejo adds a smooth character. Vanilla and agave notes are present in both the aroma and taste. Slight pepper, soft floral tones as well as smoky highlights.
And the Extra Añejo.
Tasting notes: aged for at least 3 years in American Oak bourbon barrels, the G4 Extra Añejo tastes provides soft notes of the blanco. Remarkably smooth, soft oakiness with leading vanilla aroma, citrus notes, hints of floral, dark berries and pure agave flavor.
A small bite served with each magical expression.
